Life without hurry

In these intervening years since the day of a new life, a second chance and a gift of fate, I have blocked out the habit of rushing anything every time. "Hurry up Friday" and similar expressions I have long ago tabooed. No! Let today and now not end, whatever they may be. We can still go forward, but we can't go back, so we notice the present and chew on it with both hands.

With each new year of our life we press harder and harder on the brake pedal of this car called "life". Now we understand how and what we should do and choose to get what we want. Now the image of that desired, that dream from our youth acquires, if not a concrete form, then already very clear features and drawn facets.

don't rush a single moment.
remember that from now on.
there are more important things in life,
than to get around to everything.

someone's in a hurry to finish school,
someone to take out a home loan,
some are afraid of the future in silence
and he doesn't sleep at night.

someone's in a hurry to get older, right?
someone's running ahead.
but airplanes are faster, I guess,
only life flies.

just freeze and look around--
you can be happier.
to have a great life,
you have to notice it.

Something always gets in the way of life. Study, then work, then family and life, health... and you want to "just one more time". Remember, you said not so long ago: "I'd like to go there with my present brains"?! What's stopping you from taking that to today?! When we're young we try to look older, and at 35+ we suddenly start mumbling, whispering, and can't pronounce common words, parodying a child's speech. We all want a second chance, where we won't make the same mistakes... except it's because of them that you have today!

Don't rush life, it does this task perfectly well on its own. Savor every moment, every event in your life. And... by all means! Travel!
