Two voluminous thoughts unrelated to each other, but... the question "why so" most often arises from a narrow view of things, not understanding the scope and principles of existence of this or that process. And indeed, it is very cool to live "in yourself" on the one hand, but how unfair the surrounding seems to you, when for some unknown reason goes beyond the very "norms" of your consciousness, ego or habits. Most often the answer to the question is on the surface, when you take the side of the other, while really evaluating all the pros and cons, soberly considering the risks.
On another subject...pride! I am overwhelmed with pride for what once was, for what someone was... Not long ago I watched a documentary about tanks, the arms race during WWII. What our craftsmen were doing....a "head taller," dozens lighter and faster! Our tanks! It's amazing to the extent that they didn't have time to show off the full force. That's me talking about the IS-3. And coming soon to movie theaters is the Kalashnikov. A machine gun invented 70 years ago and still in service all over the world. Fantastic!!! Geniuses and talents, deprived of almost everything were able to create something impossible for that time. Something benchmark... I wonder what they would have been capable of given the unlimited resource of anything. Although, most likely, it was this limitation that produced such a product.
Ilyusha, don't you ever rest your brain? 🤣
