Quite often we look to that part of the planet where "democracy reigns" and the economy is thriving, people are living well and happily... as it seems to us. That's me talking about America, in case anyone has any doubts or other clouded stereotypes.
The country is so capitalistic that it has affected the DNA of the country... if it's about profit and money, all means are good. I guess that's the way the average citizen thinks too, seeing nothing wrong with the actions of corporations.
The humanity that is inherent in our people and, I'd like to believe, the business is very warming... it feels cozy somehow.
Perhaps it is the mentality and norms of behavior, everyone has their own values... But how stubbornly cool do you have to be to openly declare your desire to profit from other people's labor without any grounds? Now I'm talking about the great, I'm not afraid of this word, Apple Corporation. Commission on in-app purchases... Are you serious? And why don't the sites take a commission from Apple, after all, their users go to the sites through the Safari browser and make purchases there. Maybe they should charge for voice calls, too. Charge the energy companies for charging the handset!
It seems to me that our country is about to come to this point, and that huge field of niches, free for business, will become overgrown with such prickly games soaked in poison. And the first to enter this field will be Yandex... if it is not already there.
