It's been a long time since I've been to exhibitions and museums. And then, by chance, in the news feed of Google Now suddenly appeared the news that the exhibition #PrintingGraphics is closing on the 23rd. Finding myself in the neighborhood, I decided to visit this exhibition.
This time, in addition to the paintings themselves, there was a TV set in the hall with a video showing how these graphics are produced and by what means.
Extremely labor intensive process, I must say, mediocre quality graphics in the output. As it seemed to me... but! These are not really paintings. They are still prints, or rather graphics for prints, that is, copies and copies of the same picture.
Выполнялись они несколькими способами: линолеум и камень — лишь два их них. Особенно впечатлил процесс изготовления рисунка на камне. Самое потрясающее в том, что эти рисунки имели 2 или 3 дополнительных цвета.
