It's time to notice

They see everything! Amazing creatures that can spot the pattern on your socks, the color of your watch bracelet, a crumpled sleeve, and, most incredibly, the hair on your shoulder of another person. How do you even tell the difference?

They are not us who try to overtly show and highlight anything with a large size, bright color or massive pattern. Loud noises, sudden movements and heavy touches. Lots of everything, everything is loud. Yes because we fail to notice the obvious. In the subcortex of our memory in permanent marker is "right in front of you." A phrase said to me many years ago, when I opened the kitchen cabinet door in search of a pepper mill and couldn't find one for a few minutes, searching the shelves. And lo and behold...pointing with my hand right in front of my face at the mill - right in front of you.

Don't need a lot, don't need loud, don't need often...the smallest thing, but on time! A message, a word, a call, a coffee and dessert, a flower, a "washer" or a car wash appointment can be more precious than any diamond when it happens on time. We have to learn to notice so we don't lose it.
