Everyone has habits, I've already discussed them here recently. But does everyone have a hobby? A hobby, something you do in your free time? I had and have... that's why I sincerely don't understand the word “bored”, or rather the phrase “I'm bored”. Thousands of hobbies of all kinds, profiles and topics. At one time, and it was not even that long ago, I had a blog on the Web, where I shared news from the world of IT and High-tech. On the pages of the blog there were also very interesting articles about this or that event, fact, novelty. Blood clotting and why fingers and toes wrinkle under water.... many topics.
I have long been looking for co-authors for this resource, because thanks to such content it was gaining popularity. Although, alas, more and more of our people are looking for freebies rather than something interesting and even more useful. For lack of time, the mail in its bulk were only “rewrite” from other information portals. The attempt to cover several sides of the information environment at once turned out to be a failure. Some of the headings were empty.
Today, Instagram has taken all my attention. Although there are certain limitations here, I am quite happy with the ability to express my thoughts here.
And for days now, I've been seriously considering resurrecting the blog, lifting it from its knees. To give it a new layout and finally decide on a single format. And really, there are hundreds of newsworthy events happening in the world every second. For me, though, I'd still rather talk about the complex and useful in completely simple terms, like I did about Thunderbolt 3. The only difference is that this blog is more focused on the software side of things - applications, services and their benefits for each of us.
So, is it worth diving back into the world of “find, download, test, conclude”? And if quite frankly about rewriting, in the Russian Internet space, in my opinion, 80% of this very rewriting from foreign sources, even by major players. Hmmm... I how to be?
