The power of dependency

Man... Man is peculiarly prone to falling asleep, drowning, immersing himself and not hearing anyone around him. Even when they tell you to stop, wake up, open your eyes. Your drug... you will absorb it to the end in any portions, in any quantities and kinds, no matter how it is prepared. Are there really those who are able to give it up...on their own, without being replaced by another? It seems to me that this is only possible if you are a masochist. How can you voluntarily cut off your arm or gouge out your eye? Without your drug, you don't feel complete.

All power over you is in the hands of this drug... Even after a pause and withdrawal, you feel the taste, don't remember the pain and want it again! After a while you may realize the harmfulness of this or that drug, but... can life be happy without it? Are you really ready to put sugar substitute tablets in your cup of tea all your life, knowing the taste of real sugar?! Analogs and substitutes are only good for a while... but there is a high risk of snapping and then the consequences can be much more serious. What to do? Probably it is better not to find out and not to try this "drug"... although you could not think that it will turn out to be so serious.
