Owning a house in the countryside. This is a frequent topic and questions from the series of pro/con, want/don't want. If to be completely frank to everyone and everyone, anyone and everyone would like to have a house / country house. If it would be built on its own, without any investment (not even about money) and would not require maintenance. It would just be on its own. That's the key "would".
What is a country house or #dacha? A house most likely implies a primary residence. This is a separate philosophy that has a place. As for a dacha, is it not an attempt to escape from urban problems, hustle and bustle, people and road noise?
Some time ago (quite a long time ago), one of the promoted bloggers-economists saw a video about how it is not profitable to have your own car. In his opinion, it is better to give preference to cabs. In figures (he also talks about money) everything comes out right, clear and even, sometimes, very specific. However, in such topics there is always room for "but". For me, a car is not only and not so much a means of transportation, it is also a pleasure.
Dacha can be not only a place of rest, but also a status indicator, a pleasure. Yes, yes... )))) As he says: "if it's about the vegetable garden, - know that you have grown old". Dacha without its own plot for vegetation - such a thing.
And here is an example of that dacha, which, in my opinion, has a very specific meaning - seclusion, an attempt (in this case, not even an attempt) to escape from people. To get here, you'll have to sweat. The object is made and positioned in such a way that it is not visible from the road side of the lake. It's almost a "sociovacuum."
There are at least two sides to everything. And what is the other side of this desire for privacy, hiding, distraction, etc.? It is probably worth emphasizing a possible problem within your emotional, psychological, and maybe even mental health. Humans are social creatures after all (I remembered a moment from my favorite "I Robot" when robots stick together in groups).
Extremes are always not the best outcome, solution and indicator. But the desire to socialize, get acquainted, meet and be in a circle of people where activity is booming is still more like a "normal" and "healthy" situation for a modern person. Factors "against" are most likely a consequence. For example, "getting tired of the hustle and bustle" is not a matter of hustle and bustle, but still a problem with your vacation. Have a great weekend!
