Freedom and choice: where is the truth?

Freedom and choice. Just think about it, and such seemingly close in essence words are in fact radically opposite. Choice is a conditional framework of n-number of options. It turns out that choice is always not freedom. Denying ourselves in sweet and tasty, we choose slimness of figure. Denying ourselves a beach vacation (to relax), we choose excursions and tens of thousands of steps for new emotions. Whatever you choose, you give up alternatives. I vividly remember that high school economics class on "opportunity cost". Apparently it's impossible to live without choices.

Once at the watering hole--
It was too good
And unable to bear the rest,
The animals are having an argument....

Demagoguery
Out of graceful turns.
Discussed it as best we could,
Is there freedom in choice?

Is there a choice or are we
A consequence of the causes of everything?
On borrowed time
We've traded the peace and the water.

"We are at ease!" - growled the bobcats,
Into the darkness of aggression having fallen,
Serenity and height
Without redeeming my life.

"There is no freedom, everyone is a slave!"
- The cynical hyenas roared,
Forgetting about responsibility,
Reveling in this captivity.

The heron was enjoying herself peacefully
Being beyond knowledge.
And, uninvolved, one can see
Caused a tsunami wave.

To disturb her peace,
The animals are in an uproar:
"Raising one paw
You can't lift the other one!
So choice is not freedom,
Except in part, a little...!"
The heron didn't care,
That one was left in silence.....

Growl and howl, grin and sparkle!
Everyone was affected at the time
The unwillingness of the bird to argue.
The heron - flap and fly away ...

The strife has slowly subsided.....
Clearly the truth without measurements -
Everyone's consensus has been reached,
When someone became an example.

Inhale and exhale, exhale - inhale....
The argument to freedom is untenable.
He who is free from himself,
That one is truly free.

It is possible to live without freedom. Many people live this way, considering themselves absolutely free. But this point has already been discussed in the post above. And yes, there are two sides to the coin: life has no formulas and is unique - everyone has their own. Just like the concepts of "love", "happiness" and "freedom" are different for everyone. I would like to find/know/discover this very formula, substituting my own values, in which to become happy, free and loving. Or "loving" is not about love? A-ha-ha-ha-....

Freedom of choice...I guess so! There's a reason these concepts are so often intertwined. Freedom in refusing to choose. Freedom in choosing the third between two. Freedom in not choosing, but in refusing, which is also essentially a choice. Freedom in the choice that has no consequences of "omission" but only positive effects. Freely choose the happiness to love.
