Squirrels. Delightful creatures! Animals in general are a special charm of this world. And I have not visited (yet) a decent zoo. There is a special juice from those animals that are in the wild. Alive! Free! Real!

Another, but this time spontaneous, outing to the "squirrel kitchen" was successful. The couple where she raced him was busy searching for sustenance for their current and future babies. And yes, today the "kitchen" has turned from a buffet format into a children's dining room after the influx of a flood of elementary school children - everything is empty and the only things not on the "tables" are things the kids don't eat (don't like).

Always in motion (do they remind you of anyone?), so catching them in focus is quite problematic. But it is surprising how tame they have become.

Another checkpoint closed, we head to others and new ones that I couldn’t even imagine… in anticipation!?
