Sincerity versus formality

I would devote a separate blog post to the topic of holidays and congratulations in particular, but since I touched on it, I'll say... Today I became a participant of several mailings with the texts of such seemingly pleasant congratulations. But no... and I will not be persuaded otherwise. Formal congratulations - a disgusting thing! Copy-paste does not have a thousandth of a percent of feelings, emotions that are contained in the text. In such an "expression of emotion" the author of this act (I mean copy-paste) rather enjoys the text itself, the picture or the general holiday, but in no way the addressee.

To me, congratulations are something personal, even intimate, when you wish for those passions and experiences that are truly dear and so desired by the person.

Be honest and "Happy Holidays!" - is a great format for letting the person know that you know and remember them.

And so, here we go at the beginning... Just a couple of messages from the mailing list category. Someone simply did not congratulate me, someone expressed his attention with an e-card and an honest "Happy Holidays!", someone gave me an opportunity to see and experience something I had not experienced before, and someone in his graceful manner gave me a surprise that I will use and like on 120% and I will certainly be satisfied.

It's been a long time since I've gotten a newsletter. And it has to do with the fact that more people know me and my attitude towards the holidays. More people who are truly honest with me. Less formal and a complete lack of envious people. But the best part is yet to come...that's where we'll see.
