The power of poetry

I don't like holidays in general for the only reason that there is too little sincerity in the words of congratulations, it's more "as usual", "as usual"... Commemorative dates, change of seasons, calendars and events. Well... how to look at it, from what point of view, because it will not be like before... the past cannot be brought back and by changing the year to a new one, we lose everything that was left in the past.

Adults know - anticipation is better than timing,
And most desires are a matter of the wallet.
No matter how many masterful compliments you shower the universe with.
It's no use.

There is no escaping the sorrows or the disappointments,
But there's no escaping the well-deserved joy, either.
The new year brings us new challenges,
But only the ones you have the courage to do.

May everything that doesn't come true make us stronger
Let those who betray you never want to ask anything.
May our parents age more slowly,
And the children will have a happier childhood than ours.

Happy New Year! It will never be the same again.
Where you don't expect miracles, but create them yourself!
You know what hope sounds like?

Poems...how touching to the soul and straight to the heart with their lines. There are a few that I can listen to and listen to dozens of times. Kudos to the authors and reciters who experience every word. And may the wishful thinking in this poem come true...and may all be well!
