Happiness without comparison: the truth of pleasures

We build houses, change jobs, cars, habits and social circle. We have been given by someone once upon a time some and somehow a common vector of development... Bigger, better, faster, brighter and only like that. Right? And if in theory you can understand that "yours" is absolutely not akin to the social standard of "quality", "success" and "happiness", then in life you lack the skills to stop comparing.

It's different... Some people don't even like the taste of caramel ice cream when you've already made half a jar. Here you clearly feel... tastes... your own, just as the other person does not. The truth of pleasures lies in the depths and emerges from the unknown and sometimes incompatible. And you see some stereotypical version of the manifestation of this very pleasure. But whether there is a direct dependence in this is left to guess and... doubt. If two people are at sea, they're both happy. If at the wheel of an elite car - successful and rich.
