Pixel and cold: capturing the northern lights

It's quite cold outside and there is a slight wind. My old Pixel, by the way, charged to 100% managed to run out of battery after just 20 shots. Yes, it's worth mentioning that some of them were taken in "astro mode", when one shot takes more than a minute and the phone doesn't stop working hard, but still... 18% of battery wear makes itself felt. Well... I don't even know what to do next time to get a satisfying result of shooting #Northern Lights.
