New coffee: disappointment and nostalgia

Decided to give this new coffee a try. I remember its flavor when I used to drink freeze dried coffee and liked it enough to recommend it and buy it over and over again. Now have a coffee machine and here is this #Bushido in beans.

Well... sour and a very different flavor than instant. That's where instant coffee wins out over bean coffee. Either the flavors change or not everything is the same, even though it has the same maker.

What's your favorite coffee? I can't get over the taste of Dolce Gusto's Lungo.
