Urban logic: subways, roads, views

03.09.2023

City Logic. I found the #stolitsa subway terrifying at first. It turns out to be simple enough not to get lost even the first time. Although I admit I got the sides confused a couple times. There are so many stops, they are close, so I got off at the next one and went to the other side. It's OK!

Turns, U-turns, buildings, addresses and many other things that confuse, confuse and at first make you a little angry. A big city has its own logic, which you just need to understand to accept and further apply in everyday life. It's like switching from android to iphone... Or vice versa. Everything is simple and accessible when you understand the logic of the system.

Huge distances devour time with the appetite of langoliers. Not only distances, but also areas of objects. Spaces of incredible freedom... and then the "salesman" wakes up: why and why so much free space that is not used in commerce. A small paradox - a lot of free space, when it costs a lot of money to occupy it. At the same time, construction goes on and on. Is it healthy?

Views of Moscow are separate canvases that you want to look higher and longer. There are no details here. Here the integrity of the opening view makes the gaze freeze and enjoy.

Indeed, ©"Moscow is a city of one thing", but I would give a day to the site to enjoy it fully... although it is not a fact that a day would be enough. It's all a bit "grown-up" here.
