Expert vs General outlook

I have always been convinced of the unity of my choice and even conducted some kind of a survey on the subject: “what would you choose: to be an expert and the only one on Earth, but in one certain field. Or to know practically about all spheres, but only a little”. And yes, I preferred the second option. In my opinion, the ability to maintain a conversation on absolutely any topic is a great and powerful ability. Only here, getting more and more new knowledge, you realize the insignificance of it, realizing the volumes of topics... With time a feeling of some inferiority is formed..... Oh, yes, I know about everything, but so little that anyone else, if not everyone knows even a little more than me, while remaining a professional in his field. So he's two steps ahead of me!

And so... how I would like to experience the long-forgotten feeling of professionalism. That feeling when your opinion is expert and no one doubts the results of your work... not even you! It's very cool to be in your own business, doing over-the-top work every time. Or at least better than anyone else.
