It's been a year. We measure events by dates because it is easier. Time erases the bright colors that fade under the influence of more and more vivid events. For each of the moments of your life, there is an important period, by which one or another characteristic is measured and the result is measured.
Every month we remember the date of acquaintance, and after a year we switch to the format of "anniversaries" for some reason. Why is it that, suddenly, another day of a new month is no longer so pleasant and important?!))))))) Perhaps, this is a certain indicator, a certain result, changing the format... God willing, not the attitude.
Year. What events are measured in years? And I guess what can't be measured by frequent dates has more value. Obviously because of the need to wait. New Year's Eve comes once a year, no matter how much we'd like to celebrate it more often. ))) And a year is also a great cutoff for measuring sports performance, diets, and financial performance. After all, there are all sorts of ups and downs in a year, also related to the change of seasons.
My favorite # squirrels have already changed into winter. Now the gray rodents will not be very noticeable against the white forest, blending into the background. During this year I have qualitatively changed my diet, which allowed me to lose 13 kilograms of fat without sacrificing muscle mass.
It's too early to tell, because the countdown isn't over... However, practicing my "lack of choice" makes me realize that fulfilling any goal is elementary when you, with no options to fail, close off a small task.
The goal is always painful, no matter what it is. And you can't achieve it in one fell swoop. And, perhaps, even if it is possible, it will have negative consequences. Step by step towards a big goal will have extremely positive consequences.
Over time, your steps will become longer and more confident, which you'll be able to take faster and easier. But I wouldn't shorten the path segments, rather the opposite, only increasing the weight of the goal. After all, in each of the small segments you may have many new events and moments that will somehow affect your next goal. Don't be in a hurry! Just do it!
