Microsoft has opened up access to the Cocreator feature in Paint to all users. Users Windows 11 began receiving the updated Paint application with the Cocreator function, which allows generating images based on text descriptions. The function is based on the DALL-E 3 neural network from OpenAI.
When Paint is updated, a button will appear on the toolbar CocreatorHowever, you will not be able to use the function right away. You will first have to log in to your Microsoft account and join the waiting list. You will be notified when access to testing is available.
To generate images, the user is provided with 50 credits. One credit is deducted per generation of a set of three images. It is likely that in the future, credits for generating images will be available for purchase in the Microsoft Store.
Cocreator is currently only available in the United States, Canada, Germany, France, Australia, United Kingdom and Italy. The availability of the feature is determined by the region set in the operating system. Cocreator supports text queries in Russian language.
