I've done so many things with my computer and laptop that nothing seems to surprise me. But then all of a sudden I decided to turn to Windows Protector... and I checked the system. Yes, yes, it is very suspicious of many safe applications and many of you do not trust this antivirus. By the way, there was an article quite a while ago about this defender being recognized as the best. And... it's completely free, and who better than Microsoft to know the intricacies of their system to ensure that it is well protected without putting too much strain on it.
And lo and behold... b.exe located in the Windows folder was recognized as a trojan. Next to it there was a "botnick" with the same name, which was easily removed manually. Well... the defender did not let this exe run, but just in case I started a global password change, or rather one... two types 😉 of my passwords.
Be vigilant and update your security system, or better yet, install software from reliable and official sources, avoiding the use of pirated software and warez.
