Running squirrels and treats

Life is movement, and movement in life is a real pleasure! That's why # squirrels are the happiest of creatures. The only time they don't run around like a fire is when they are eating.

So much energy and speed in them... apparently in proportion to their beauty. Lucky with the squirrels' mood, the little ones eagerly accepted the treats.

It's funny to watch them try to chew on walnuts "without leaving the cash register", favoring them over peanuts. ? because the former is bigger? A special treat for these charmers is hazelnuts. They gently nibble on them... a tedious procedure, I must say. So the redheads will be happier with a peeled treat!

But judging by the behavior of some of them, they prefer meat! Biting... rodents, though. They bit my hand and fingers a couple of times.
