And so I catch myself thinking, "is this /this/that really that good"? The system of ratings and grades, points and ranks, hence novels, names and God knows what else, was once voiced by me in earlier posts. Now I realize that I artificially underrate this or that characteristic of this or that in order to... What? Why? And then the expression "there is always better", which once played a cruel joke on me, immediately comes to mind. And then another one, or rather a refill - "... but I have my own"!
And then there's the whole thing. All of these, if you drop the masks and look at them straight in the eye, are excuses. The presence of "but" already speaks of doubts and choice. The reason for such "understatement" lies somewhere deeper and is not covered by fallen tree leaves. The essence is in the roots, which is obvious... and one could throw some fluff: underestimation is a stimulus, a motivator of growth, development, search for new things, compilation, synergy and .... other stuff. No! Alas and ah, but no. Everything that happens around us is a reflection of ourselves. And, perhaps, not daring to put excellent # RedDry is a banal insecurity. Oscar-winning "Bohemian Rhapsody" with an 8 from me - and who am I to see, means and notice the subtleties with which the picture is staged.
Movies, wine and even technology are exceptionally rated by me with the highest score, even when I can't find a better alternative or there simply isn't one yet. "Perfect is impossible!" - I would like to exclaim in my defense. And what is "perfect" I haven't analyzed. I think it is some kind of average between all the "perfect", "marvelous", "excellent", "superb" and "luxurious" - something damnably subjective.
My work, which exceeded the expectations of the customer, has never earned my own highest score and here, drawing conclusions, I can say about the reasons for "greed" to the highest marks - my own inexpertness. He who has painted hundreds of pictures can safely argue his evaluation of dry works. The author of thousands of lines of code and the author of thousands of rigorous texts can expertly declare flaws in the work of an application and the syllable of your poem. What can I do? I can do everything! But only the way I know how))))) so I will do better and better in the context of past works.
