Smiling: a sign of weakness?

Let's talk about smiling. During the pandemic, when wearing masks in public places was mandatory, I noted for myself the looks, the eyes of people. How beautiful were the eyes staring off into the distance, into nowhere in most people of various ages. At that time, I wanted to capture those looks on canvas or at least in a photo.

A rare passerby today will smile, in a moment of crossing gazes. The few simply smile at the world, holding their way in either direction. What is it? Why? Some image of importance, style or an abundance of burdens, problems and endless load?

In reality, smiling is one of the manifestations of weakness. Why? You are open to the person you are smiling at and do not hold negative thoughts, calculations and evaluations in your head. You are genuinely kind. And yes, we're talking about a genuine smile that shows up on its own. Talking about "on-duty" and "needy" doesn't feel right at all. Sincere smile and laughter, as I think, can not be faked, it is very well felt. If it's open, then it's a favorable place to strike. And we are used to waiting for a trick, betrayal and lies. Except it's all the responsibility of others. Smile - stay yourself!

How different the smile and how different the laughter! These marvelous displays of emotion are amazingly contagious. ? Take the test. Right now! Who's next to you?! Let's start by saying "huh." Count on your fingers. The first one is the index finger. Now "ha-ha," index and middle. Keep increasing the number of "ha's" in arithmetic progression. You'll get to 10, for example! ☺️.

A sincere, honest smile and laughter that comes from the heart can make you fall in love. The notes of this melody are mesmerizing and even addictive! It's like a cup of coffee in the morning... it becomes a ritual and causes an indefatigable thirst for more!
