It's not worth puzzling over. I heard an interesting thought from Alexander at one time, when the issue touched on business. One way or another, this thought projected onto everyday things. Not even personal and interpersonal relationships.
We tend to overthink things. It is, frankly, more typical of women, but the fact remains. Well, you shouldn't! And as my practice shows #OnSelf and #ThroughSelf - here and now. Or... okay: © "work with what we have" (borrowed/nyavyahana)..... It's about "if, then." No! It doesn't work that way. It's simply a matter of fact. "He'll change when he learns how things can really be. I'll show him that." No! "Now, if I had a laptop with tablet capability and a stylus, I'd start drawing and making infographics by hand." No! "Actually most people don't know how handy that is. I'll show it to them. They'll want it." Again, no!
Don't create a need. Don't make things up and don't make things up for yourself at all! In fact, there is enough work to do "with what you have". The other thing is that it can be extremely hard. After all, that's why we are looking for something new, something that seems much easier and much faster. Something we think we're experts at. No! After the guessing comes the complication. The next step is to search and choose. Next comes evaluation and selection of alternatives. The bottom line is lost profit.
No! You'll never have time for everything. And the here and now belongs only to you. It belongs to you! And only in your hands to do now what will matter tomorrow.
The endless movement and rush for more is exhausting. You know, choosing for yourself and for yourself is also a choice that sometimes pays more dividends than working tirelessly for others.
Being able to operate in the present with the resources at hand is a talent. This is what I want to learn. It is this skill that will help me to live rather than spend my existence in conventions and circumstances. Time is precious!
