Speed and volume: the race of technology

More and more capacity. More and more speed. Here I suddenly remembered the appearance of the “Maxi” tariff in MTS - far back in 2008, when 100-500 Mb were the norm. For some people even these 500 MB were a lot, and then they wondered about transferring the balance to a new month.

Nowadays, 10 GB of traffic, 32 GB of phone space and 3G networks with ~2 Mbps bandwidth no longer seem the norm.

5G is coming to the masses, and China is already working on 6G. Anyone will be able to buy a phone with 1TB of memory this year.

You really can't keep up with the speeds and volumes. How much I regret the omission when choosing a laptop and the limitations of the Android OS. If in the first case I just spend money irrationally, in the second case I have to resort to using third-party software.
