Politics, a pandemic and an asteroid

“Fuck!!! Time to remember the sanctions!!! I don’t give a damn about anyone. Everyone has restricted our entry and closed the borders. But… Russia is like a rag for beating. We are serving again, sending humanitarian aid worth hundreds of thousands, millions of rubles. We will endure, we will swallow…” – this is the message I sent to a number of my friends. I was wildly blown away. It is not clear what is going on in this world. Very little lends itself to logic and explanation. It all looks very suspicious.

Many people find the situation very strange. Remember the increase in the retirement age and then the World Cup? Now: amendments to the Constitution and #covid19.

Aggression from the United States in the form of sanctions, which were groundlessly imposed on Russia one after another... By the way, have any of them been lifted? Turkey, Egypt and other countries... all banned entry into their territories. Finland, Norway... we are not allowed to bring their cheese. What??? Fucking cheese... But! How much money has been spent on humanitarian aid to all these countries, which, at the wave of a wand from the United States, commit such meanness?! Our people are left without work and spend their last savings to survive... Maybe this humanitarian aid should be distributed to the citizens of their own country? Thousands of people lived below the poverty line even before the pandemic... but the country is helping the "enemies". I understand that this is pure politics and most likely humanitarian aid should be taken in quotation marks, but... what should our head of the family feel when he hears about the US government's assistance to their networks in 1000$? He hears "thank you" from the president and about "preserving wages". Words that remain words.

God be with him and this pandemic... or to hell with this whole thing, politics and lawlessness.

It is curious that today I learned about another news item, which, not having such resonance, has a very small font in the headline. A large (2 to 4 kilometers in diameter) asteroid 1998 OR2 is flying towards Earth. Well... perhaps #Coronovirus will not have time to conquer the world, because it may be overtaken by this asteroid, which in 3 weeks may be near Earth. One misfortune is accompanied by another... is this the end of the world?
