Quite often I am approached with questions about choosing a phone. Perhaps, I objectively have a lot of experience with the work of various types of mobile phones (since 2007, I have had many different phones in my hands), so I am always ready to offer 2-3 models to choose from.
When choosing a smartphone for yourself, first and foremost ask yourself the question: why do you need a new one? The old one is broken – fix it, if it’s not fashionable – wait for October… the eternally new October.
Having defined your main task, you will significantly narrow the range of what will suit you. Camera phone, pure Android or “open and work”... Modern handsets solve almost all the tasks that you can do on your laptop, perhaps only programming will not work here.
Another important parameter is the budget. It will most likely remove ¾ from that circle right away, because today 15,000 ± 5,000 is the normal cost of a cell phone, I am not talking about the “chosen ones” that can cost half as much, while not being technically inferior... We are talking about the mass market... alas, in our country it is extremely poor.
As a result, a budget phone for more than one year (monthly security update and a new OS version once a year) – #AndroidOne, about which, to the shame of mobile resellers, their employees know nothing. This “workhorse” #Nokia32 is sure that it will serve faithfully for 3 years for sure... if only I could preserve it physically.
